17 undergraduates
7 graduate students
waiting on deposits from folks that were on waiting lists: 5
4 men and 20 women
age ranges from 19? to 39?
two or more are parents
majors from EC-6 to biology to English to business
a set of sisters (twins, in fact)
students that have hardly been out of the state and a few who have traveled far & wide
but all, in all, absolutely great and enthusiastic bunch of people
Our program had over 56 students that made initial application with about 39 submitting essays and about 37 interviewed.
You are in a great set of people and we will all know each other better before we depart and REALLY well by the time we return. You will be making friendships that will last for years to come.

As of December 2, it sounds like we are going to have a ton of fun getting to know each other and go on an exciting adventure. I can not wait to meet everyone!!

We have four or five people who are already in teaching jobs. Two have just completed student teaching, two more will complete student teaching in Spring Term, two teach for ASU (not the two professors), one teaches in Midland and one in Big Spring. Very interesting!
